Tim started his consulting career when he joined Marakon in 1993, initially locating on the East Coast before transferring to the London office for just under 3 years. He returned to North America to help found Marakon’s Chicago office in 1996, where he stayed until leaving to start TRC Advisory in 2014. In 2012 Tim co-founded a biotech start-up, Cyteir Therapeutics, which is focused on developing and commercializing innovative therapies for patients battling a range of cancers and autoimmune diseases. In 2015 Tim led the close of its Series A investment round, subsequently taking a role on the Board of Directors and serving as a strategic advisor to the new management team.
Tim grew up on the west side of Denver, CO. When not serving clients or immersed in the biotech venture, Tim invests most of his time with his family (wife and two boys), with the occasional opportunity to get some exercise at the ice hockey rink, the ski hill or the golf course.
Tim holds a BS degree in Economics from The Wharton School of Business.
