Mark Skoskiewicz

Mark has been a strategy consultant for over a decade. He worked at Marakon from 2004 to 2012, where he managed several large scale corporate strategy projects, primarily in the Industrials space.  He was also involved in several M&A projects spanning pipeline development and due diligence. Since helping Tim launch TRC Advisory, he’s worked with a mix of large corporate and medium-sized private equity owned businesses, primarily to help them drive organic growth. He has substantial experience helping clients link strategy development to execution by translating market, competitive  or customer insights into specific go-to-market plans inclusive of product/service offer design, pricing optimization, pipeline development and account planning.

Outside of TRC, Mark spends most of his time hanging out with his wife, chasing three toddlers and a poodle around the house, and playing ice hockey whenever he can. In addition, Mark founded MyGuru, oMark founded MyGuru, one of the more successful GMAT tutoring businesses in the Midwest. MyGuru’s day-to-day operations are managed by a small team of employees in Chicago who work with >50 independently contracted tutors and >500 customers both online and in Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, Boston, and a few other cities.

Mark holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. and a BS from Indiana University.
