Garan Geist

Garan has fifteen years of management consulting experience, having climbed the ranks at Marakon Associates prior to joining TRC as a Director in 2018. He has a broad range of strategy consulting experience, including corporate strategy development and implementation, pricing and growth strategy, financial and market analysis, corporate development, portfolio optimization, due diligence, salesforce effectiveness and large-scale change management programs. Garan works across industries, but has focused his time on industrials, chemicals, and financial services clients. He is particularly interested in bringing an analytical, logical approach to tough strategic questions. Before going into consulting, Garan worked in the renewable energy sector, developing business cases for and commercializing alternative fuels, an area that remains of interest to him today.

Outside of TRC, Garan enjoys traveling to far corners of the world with his wife Brittany and daughter Stella, and trying out new restaurants back home in Chicago.

Garan has an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University.​
